In Sardinian, Domu means home. And that is exactly what we want to offer: a kitchen that makes you feel at home, with dishes inspired by the land, the sea and the changing seasons. We bring the flavours and aromas of our island to your table, using local ingredients: vegetables, herbs, cheeses and eggs from the Is Aquas garden at the Argiolas estate. To round off the experience, we offer an international wine list as well as cocktails, aperitifs and moments to relax.
The Chef
Alessandro Taras's vision
Behind the scenes in the kitchen: Chef Alessandro Taras. He prefers not to define himself by any titles; he only truly feels like himself when he is in the kitchen. After working alongside Michelin-starred chefs in places as far-flung as Hong Kong, France, the United States and Hawaii, he now wants to share the flavours of the island he knows and loves. Traditional Southern Sardinian recipes include handmade pasta specialties, such as macarrones de busa, nicchitus, and a reimagined cassola fish casserole with eel. Every dish tells a story that speaks of home – of Domu.

A rich culinary journey
At lunchtime, the menu is lighter and complements experiences at the Argiolas wine estate. Fresh, uncomplicated dishes made with local ingredients: herbs and vegetables from the Is Aquas estate, cheeses and meats from local producers. In the evening, we offer a more sophisticated dining experience. Two tasting menus: Land and Sea. To accompany them, the wine list features Argiolas wines, including older vintages, alongside international labels.

An open space, even indoors
The restaurant, courtyard, and terrace are perfect for private events or small celebrations. And, of course, for hosting the calendar of culinary events we dedicate to gourmets from all over the island.
